After completing my degree at Nottingham Trent University and a residency with IOU Theatre company (www.ioutheatre.org), I started my theatrical career making props and puppets and performing as a puppeteer for theatre companies across England. I think I’ve always subconsciously wanted to be a puppeteer. Ever since watching the muppet show and the Jim Henson film “Dark Crystal”, I’ve been fascinated with the whole process, from conception to productin to final performance. Designing, making and performing with puppets is something that requires a good all round knowledge of lots of different processes… But that’s what keeps it interesting…!
